One of our favourite performance-driven athletic brands is landing in one of our favourite 'hoods, and not quietly. For the next ten days, New Balance brings its signature shade to Dubai’s creative core.
From 1 May, the brand’s annual Grey Days arrives in Dubai with a nod to the colour that shaped its identity. First introduced in the 1980s as a practical choice for runners, grey was designed to move seamlessly through the city, understated, durable and distinctly different from the neon-heavy landscape of performance wear at the time. Decades on, it remains a defining part of the brand’s visual language.

This year, Grey Days invites visitors to explore a series of homegrown spaces that reflect Dubai’s creative pulse. More than a campaign, it is a community-led experience that blends fashion, movement, music, and art.
At its centre is Gooder the much-loved skatepark turned Grey Days hub, where a dedicated retail space sits alongside a programme of community driven moments. Nearby, UrArtU Gallery, founded by Gurgen Yeritsyan, hosts weekend workshops that bring together floral design, movement and nature in unexpected ways.
At The Workshop DXB, guests can create their own Grey Days keepsakes through hands-on screen-printing sessions, while Nightjar Coffee Roasters offers a slower rhythm with curated coffee moments and limited-edition menu items across the weekends.
For those looking to dial up the energy, CRANK joins the line up with a series of high intensity Shape classes, bringing movement into the mix.

Running until 10 May, the programme is open to the public, with workshops and cultural moments unfolding across each weekend. Alongside the experience, the Grey Days 2026 collection launches in stages throughout the month, spanning lifestyle, performance and kidswear and reworking the brand’s heritage through a contemporary lens.

In Alserkal, grey does not fade into the background, it leads the way.
