Sketchy Supper

Sketch over supper, with a guided illustrator and a delicious three-course meal in an intimate setting. The ultimate solo date, or a relaxed evening with a partner or friends, designed for slowing down and getting creative together. Have you ever sketched between your starter and main course?

Doors open: 30 minutes prior to showtime

Your ticket includes: 

• All sketching materials
• A guided session with a guest illustrator
• A three-course dining experience: starter, main and dessert and two beverages (soft and house).

• This workshop is non-refundable, though tickets may be rescheduled once with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
• Guests are kindly asked to arrive 15 minutes before the session begins.
• This is a shared seating experience, with guests seated together at communal tables as part of the format.
• Food and beverage are curated and set for the experience. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking, as changes may not be possible on the day.
• Sketchy Supper reserves the right to make minor adjustments to the menu, format or materials if required to ensure the best experience.
• Photography and video may be captured during the session for promotional use. By attending, guests consent to appearing in content unless the team is notified in advance.

The event will be hosted in English.
 

By car: If you're driving, head towards Dubai Hills Business Park via Umm Suqeim Street (D63) or Al Khail Road (E44). Follow the signs to Dubai Hills Estate and Dubai Hills Business Park. Parking is available nearby.

By public transport: Take the Dubai Metro Red Line to Mall of the Emirates Station, then continue by taxi or ride-hailing service to Dubai Hills Business Park.

By taxi: Taxis and ride-hailing services are the easiest and most direct option. Simply search for Tania's Teahouse in your preferred navigation app.

These Ticketing Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to all tickets purchased for Sketch over Supper, organised by Art in the Middle Magazine. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these T&Cs.

1. Event Details

Each ticket is valid only for the specific date and time selected at booking.
The experience takes place at Tania's Teahouse and has a duration of approximately 2 hours (from 7:15pm to 9:15pm)

2. Entry & Attendance

Guests are requested to arrive at least 15 minutes before the session start time.
Late arrivals will be admitted; however, the session will run as scheduled and no compensation will be provided for missed time.

3. Ticket Policy (No Refunds)

All tickets are non-refundable, except in the case of cancellation or rescheduling by the organiser.

4. Rescheduling Policy

Tickets may be rescheduled once only, provided that:

• A request is submitted at least 48 hours prior to the session
• The new session is subject to availability

Requests made within 48 hours of the event or failure to attend will result in the ticket being forfeited.

5. Ticket Transfer

Tickets may be transferred to another person, provided that:

• The organiser is notified in advance via email at info@artinthemiddle.com
• The email includes the ticket number, and the new attendee’s full name, email, and contact number

Failure to provide this information in advance may result in refusal of entry.

6. Ticket Usage

• Tickets must be presented upon arrival (digital or printed)
• Each ticket admits one person only
• Tickets may not be resold or used for commercial purposes without prior written approval
  7. Capacity & Seating

Tickets are sold based on limited capacity. Entry is strictly subject to availability at the time of booking.
Once a session is sold out, no additional guests can be accommodated.

Seating is arranged as a shared group experience, and guests may be seated together at communal tables.

8. Experience Format

The organiser reserves the right to make minor adjustments to:

• Menu items
• Materials provided
• Session format
• Assigned illustrator

Such changes do not entitle ticket holders to a refund.

9. Food, Beverages & Alcohol

Each ticket includes a curated menu with food and two beverages, which may include alcohol.

• Guests must be 21 years or older to attend
• Valid ID may be required upon entry
• Guests must inform the organiser of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking

While reasonable efforts will be made, last-minute dietary requests may not be accommodated.

10. Media & Photography

Photography and video recording may take place during the event for promotional purposes.
By attending, you consent to being included unless you notify the organiser in advance.

11. Conduct & Liability

The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest without refund if their behaviour is inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive.

Guests attend at their own risk. The organiser is not liable for:

• Personal injury
• Loss or damage to personal belongings
• Any incidents occurring before, during, or after the event
  12. Event Changes or Cancellation

If the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organiser, guests will be offered:

• An alternative date, or
• A refund (at the organiser’s discretion)
  13. Compliance with UAE Laws

All guests must comply with applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates and venue policies.
