On 9 July 2026, from 5pm to 9pm, Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai invites guests to enjoy an evening focused on floral design and Asian-inspired dining. In partnership with Fine Blooms, the hotel will offer an exclusive floral masterclass at Yù & Mì, its 1960s Hong Kong-inspired restaurant.
The event combines the art of flower arranging with the flavours and traditions of Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine, giving guests a chance to unwind and enjoy a relaxed evening of learning, dining, and little thoughtful touches.

The evening begins with a hands-on floral masterclass led by the experts at Fine Blooms. Inspired by traditional Asian floristry, the workshop will introduce guests to the key elements behind creating balanced and meaningful floral arrangements.
Participants will explore the use of texture, shape and composition before designing their own bespoke arrangement to take home. Whether new to flower arranging or already passionate about floral design, the session offers an opportunity to learn new techniques in a welcoming setting.
Following the workshop, guests will continue the evening with a sharing-style dinner at Yù & Mì, where the restaurant’s signature Cantonese and Sichuan flavours take centre stage.
The menu features a selection of dishes designed to be enjoyed together, including the Supreme Dim Sum Platter, Signature Peking Duck, Stir-Fried King Prawns with Chilli and Walnuts and Sichuan Glazed Beef Short Ribs. The evening concludes with a refreshing Mango Sago dessert.
Set within the restaurant’s Hong Kong-inspired surroundings, the dining experience adds another layer to the evening, combining traditional flavours with a contemporary setting.

Priced at AED 1,400 per person, the experience includes the floral masterclass, all workshop materials, dinner and a bespoke floral arrangement to take home.
Guests will also receive a curated gift bag featuring a scented candle, an AED 500 Fine Blooms bouquet gift card, and a spa voucher for The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai. The voucher includes access to the spa’s wellness facilities and outdoor pool on the 11th floor, along with a complimentary 30-minute enhancement when booking a spa treatment.
Reservations are required, with limited spaces available for this exclusive evening.
