The Courtyard Playhouse invites professionals to step out of their comfort zones and take the stage for ‘Unscripted: Speaking with Impact’, a full-day immersive workshop running on 7 November at the theatre’s Al Quoz venue.
Blending the creativity of improv theatre with the practical tools of corporate communication, the session promises to help participants speak with confidence, think on their feet and discover the joy of authentic connection.

Led by Salman Qureshi, an improv performer and facilitator, Unscripted marks the first time the Playhouse has opened its renowned corporate training to the public. Through practical improv exercises, the workshop helps teams and leaders discover how spontaneity can unlock creativity and foster empathy in their professional lives. Whether pitching to a client or presenting to a room of strangers, the program encourages professionals to swap performance anxiety with being present, responding authentically and staying flexible.
With only 12 spots available, the workshop creates an intimate, comfortable environment specifically designed to break down professional barriers through self-discovery. To extend that collaborative spirit, participants will also enjoy lunch at Cassette Dubai.

Since its inception in 2013, The Courtyard Playhouse has become the UAE’s home of improv, a community hub that bridges the worlds of theatre and business. Through its Corporate Academy, the Playhouse has trained teams across industries from hospitality to tech, offering workshops that nurture creative thinking, communication and leadership skills.
Unscripted: Speaking with Impact continues that mission, opening the experience to professionals from all sectors. As the Playhouse puts it, if the idea of letting go feels daunting but that’s exactly where you should begin.
