Cairo Design Week (CDW) is coming back from November 19 to 28, 2026, for its fourth edition. It’ll bring together designers, brands, cultural institutions, and creative communities from all over Egypt, the region and beyond.
For ten days, Cairo will once again be a huge playground for design chats showing off its status as one of the region’s most exciting creative cities.
Since its launch, Cairo Design Week has evolved into a key meeting point for regional and international design communities, positioning Cairo as an increasingly influential hub for creativity and innovation.
The 2026 edition builds on this momentum, highlighting Egypt’s expanding design ecosystem while encouraging collaboration across disciplines and borders.

This year’s programme unfolds across three of Cairo’s most distinctive districts, Zamalek, Downtown Cairo and Heliopolis, each offering its own cultural identity and architectural character.
Across these neighbourhoods, audiences can expect a wide-ranging programme of exhibitions, installations, talks, workshops, pop-ups, brand activations and cultural experiences staged within some of the city’s most historic and atmospheric spaces.

Building on previous editions, CDW 2026 will expand opportunities for international participation and introduce larger-scale public installations, interdisciplinary collaborations and city-wide activations. These additions further reinforce its role as a catalyst for creative exchange, where design moves beyond gallery walls and into the public realm.
With its rich architectural heritage and vibrant creative scene, Cairo continues to emerge as one of the region’s most compelling design capitals. Cairo Design Week remains committed to making design accessible, offering a platform where creatives and the public can engage directly with the ideas shaping the city’s evolving cultural landscape.
