Fancy a proper laugh in Dubai?...
If the answer is yes, add 9 October 2025 to your diary because Mo Amer is heading back to the UAE. The Palestinian American comedian, who rose to global fame with his hit Netflix series MO, is making his much-anticipated return to the Dubai Comedy Festival (DCF) for not one, but two exclusive shows at Dubai Opera.
Returning to the festival for the first time since his 2020 debut, Mo Amer is set to bring his signature style back to the Dubai stage. Comedy fans are in for a treat as Live Nation Middle East presents him live on Thursday, 9 October.
Known for his quick wit, Mo draws from his Palestinian heritage and family background to discuss personal stories and growing up in America. His stand-up balances sharp social commentary with genuine warmth, often using humour to reflect on life's challenges and identity. In the latest MO series (series 2), Mo turns his pain into punchlines, crafting smart, powerful comedy rooted in real life. Mo is set to deliver an unforgettable night of comedy.
Now in its fifth edition, the Dubai Comedy Festival runs from 2 to 12 October and continues to grow as a major highlight in the city’s cultural calendar. The festival showcases comedy across English, Arabic, Hindi, Russian, and French, with shows taking place at iconic venues including Dubai Opera and Coca-Cola Arena.
