M7, Qatar’s epicentre for fashion, design and technology under Qatar Museums and the leadership of its Chairperson, Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, has unveiled The Global Edit, a groundbreaking platform designed to propel designers into the international fashion arena.

The initiative offers tailored mentorship and strategic guidance at every stage of a designer’s career, helping emerging and established brands refine their identity, expand their networks and gain visibility at leading fashion events and trade fairs. Each designer’s journey is individually shaped, from creative direction to entering the global market.

For its debut edition, M7 spotlights three distinctive labels that embody creativity, craftsmanship and innovation: Tash and Ley, Gigeez and Tagreed Omer Couture.

Founded by Tasha Saradar and Lea Al Chaa, Tash and Ley creates silk scarves that function as wearable art and celebrate the individuality of wearers. The brand’s zero-waste approach transforms damaged and leftover material into accessories, including mini talē scarves, silk scrunchies, and bag charms. Each design is symbolised by the hummingbird and is produced in limited quantities to ensure each piece is a true statement.

Gigeez, established in 2022, reimagines traditional garments like the Arab kaftan, Indian saree and Japanese obi into contemporary silhouettes, handmade in Qatar. Fusing sustainability with inclusivity, each piece embraces cultural hybridity while championing ethical production. Offering designs in both loose and slim fits, the brand reflects a modern, global woman who is unique and stylish.

Rounding out the trio, Tagreed Omer Couture is a luxury fashion house which specialises in zero-waste couture and AI-assisted design. With collections stocked at Printemps and 51 East, the brand represents a new wave of Middle Eastern couture, combining technical expertise with artisanal craftsmanship.

Through The Global Edit, M7 reinforces Qatar’s growing influence as a creative and cultural hub that champions design and talent.
