Hands up if you feel lucky to have world-class concerts and festivals right here in Dubai—always just a 30-minute taxi ride from the action.
If you went to Butterfly Carnival last year, you’ll remember the sounds of AfroLOUD. The sights of shuffling feet to pumping beats are back, set to take over Bluewaters Island on 5 April with an unforgettable day-to-night celebration of Afrobeat, Amapiano, Afro Desi, and Afro House sounds, featuring a star-studded lineup, memorable performances, and immersive cultural experiences.
For the 2025 edition, they’re pulling out the big names with CKay, the global Afrobeats sensation known for his record-breaking hit Love Nwantiti, which has over 2 billion streams and most used song on TikTok. His performance will bring his signature blend of melancholic melodies and infectious African rhythms to the stage. Victony, a rising star in the Afrobeats scene, will also perform, showcasing his innovative style. With his debut album Stubborn and collaborations with global superstars like Burna Boy and Rema, Victony is a must-watch artist.
Adding to the excitement, Scorpion Kings, South Africa’s Amapiano royalty, will bring their genre-defining sound to the festival, making it a party you won't want to miss. Wynton Harvey, son of the legendary Steve Harvey, will also be on hand, adding experimental sounds and curated DJ sets to the mix. Karaba, a rising Afro House star, will captivate the crowd with her deep-rooted rhythms. Priyanka, the trailblazing Afro Desi artist, will redefine soundscapes with her fusion of Afro and South Asian music.
But that’s not all—AfroLOUD isn’t just about the music. With its stunning location beside Ain Dubai, the world’s largest observation wheel, you’ll be partying under the sky and alongside one of the most iconic views in the world. From 2 PM onwards, festivalgoers can tuck into Caribbean flavours from Ting Irie, West African dishes from Enish and more, while global DJs and live performances keep the energy high into the night.
AfroLOUD will spotlight both iconic acts and fresh talent from across Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia, capturing the expanding influence of Afro music on a global scale. With many more artists yet to be announced, the festival promises to be a diverse and electrifying experience.
Don’t miss out—mark your calendars for April 5, and get ready for an unforgettable experience at Bluewaters Island, with the world’s largest wheel as your backdrop.
